For people with allotments, home vegetable gardens or generous neighbours with spare veg, their comes a certain time of the year that buckets and bags of green beans, beetroot, pumpkins, courgettes, onions and carrots will be overfilling. This abundance is perfect for any passionate preserver and can soon be turned into delicious preserves to brighten up the dark days. Suitable for vegans.

You will make:

  • Runner bean chutney
  • Pumpkin & maple butter
  • Shallots in balsamic vinegar
