If you are in your last year of school or college, aged 16-24 and looking for an apprenticeship or need some help deciding which steps to take next, County Training runs Secure your Apprenticeship events. These are great opportunities to find out:
- how the apprenticeship programme works
- the application process for apprenticeships
- different ways of finding a placement and how to contact employers
- how to create a CV and cover letter
- information on our pre-apprenticeship programme - ideal if you're not sure about what you will be doing next
All attendees will receive a free pack of useful information!
There are also resources and templates available on this page to help you put a CV together and write an accompanying letter, plus a booklet with lots of useful advice and tips. For parents and carers of young people there is an advice booklet with answers to any questions you may have on apprenticeships.
Events are planned to take place in Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Oswestry and Telford. Parents and carers are welcome, and it is essential that you book a place. Please choose the event that you would like to attend and contact us using the details on this page to book.
