|Changes to the Gold service over the bank holiday|
The repository will be closed for business on Monday 29th May 2017.
Gold Service COLLECT applications taken before 1pm on Friday 26 May can be collected at the usual time of between 2pm – 3pm at The Hub, Castlegates on that day.
Any Gold COLLECT applications taken after 1pm on Friday 26 May will not be available for collection until Tuesday 30 May between 2pm – 3pm at The Hub, Castlegates.
Gold Service POST applications taken before 1pm on Friday 26 May SHOULD be delivered on Saturday 27 May before 1pm but it MAY be Tuesday 30 May, depending on the Sorting Office used.
Gold Service POST applications taken after 1pm on Friday 26 May will not be delivered until Wednesday 31 May before 1pm.

To ensure that we have the correct records you require, please consult the attachments on this page to check we hold the register for the area required, and the approximate date on which you believe the event took place, before placing your order.

Birth, marriages and deaths outside of Shropshire
For births, marriages and deaths outside the county, you'll need to contact the relevant register office. To do this, visit the General Register Office website for England and Wales, and then type the town or postcode into the search facility on the site.
Certificates are available for purchase to commemorate any special occasion, such as becoming a grandparent, reaching a particular age, marking a special anniversary, or any other occasion or achievement. The certificates, which are bespoke and personalised to the recipient, are signed by the Superintendent Registrar or her deputy, and are printed full colour, on high quality paper and may be laminated if required (£1 extra per certificate).
