Water calculations (Part G) came into force in October 2010, requiring all applications which create a new dwelling to provide a Part G water calculation to ensure that the internal potable water usage does not exceed the required 125 litres per person per day. There was a transitional period attached to this introduction, this being that any applications to create a new domestic dwelling received prior to October 2010, but not commenced by October 2011, would also be required to provide this calculation.
