The Community Action Team works with and for people in local communities. We are a small team of officers located around the county supporting local community regeneration, helping to address local issues and to deliver community priorities.

Community action officers are each allocated specific geographical segments of the county as 'their patch'. They provide support to:

• local councillors,
• local businesses
• community and voluntary organisations.

In addition, these officers provide direct support to the local joint committees operating in their respective localities, and work with Shropshire Councillors to support community led projects
