Please note that a public consultation event to showcase the new plans for Whitchurch Civic Centre will be held on Tuesday 18th September in the Edward German Room at the Civic Centre.
Doors will open at 6pm and the plans will be on display, the architect will give a presentation at 7pm which will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
This event is to gain public views on the plans to reconfigure the foyer area and provide the Civic Centre with a new frontage. This work is being funded with money from the Market Town Revitalisation Programme and Whitchurch Town Council.
Additional funding has been received from a Unilateral Undertaking with Sainsbury’s and this money has been allocated to reconfigure the outside space at the front of the Civic Centre.
Even if you do not live in Whitchurch, you may, at some time, have used or wish to use the Centre and you are cordially invited to give your views on these plans.
