
There are 13 habitats for which a Habitat Action Plan (or HAP) is currently included in the Shropshire Biodiversity Action Plan (SBAP). You can download all of the action plans from the publications links on this page. In each case a current version of the HAP is provided, correct in May 2012
Shropshire Biodiversity Partnership has identified a number of landscape scale projects, which focus on specific areas of the county and will cover all habitats and species in that area. Further details of these Priority Areas For Action and the progress being made in developing and delivering conservation in these areas is available on the Natural Shropshire website.Two of these Priority Areas for Action have now received funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund's Landscape Partnership Scheme. The Mere and Mosses of the Marches has also been designated as one of England's twelve Nature Improvement Area's.
