What is the employment deprivation domain?
The employment domain is considered to be one of the most important facets of deprivation and is weighted at 22.5%. This domain measures the percentage of the working age population who want to work but are unable to do so due to unemployment, sickness or disability. Six indicators were used to calculate the employment deprivation scores.

- Participants in the New Deal for the 18-24s who are not in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance.
