Beginning in 2010, Shropshire Council has organised and hosted a series of Market Towns Toolkit events as part of the overall Shropshire Toolkit.
The Intelligence and Research team at Shropshire Council have been responsible for collecting information and producing maps for each of the areas taking part in the Market Towns Toolkit.

- 3 February 2011: Wem
- 10 February 2011: Shifnal
- 17 February 2011: Minsterley and Pontesbury (joint event)
- 1 March 2011: Ellesmere
- 9 March 2011: Albrighton
- 10 March 2011: Craven Arms
- 17 March 2011: Broseley
- 22 March 2011: Highley
- 12 April 2011: Bishop's Castle
