The Statement of Community Involvement for Shropshire (SCI) was formally adopted by Shropshire Council on 24 February 2011.

The Statement of Community Involvement for Shropshire, or SCI, is the document which sets out how Shropshire Council will engage communities and organisations on planning issues across the county.

The document includes information on how Shropshire Council will seek to involve people in the plan-making process and in the determination of individual planning applications.
