Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre is a City and Guilds registered National Vocational Qualification assessment Centre.
Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre is approved to offer:
- Health and Social Care awards levels 2, 3 and 4 Adults and Children and Young People
- Leadership and Management for Care Services (Adults) level 4
- A1 and V1 ( Assessor and Verifier) awards
- Common Induction Standards Training
- Apprenticeships in Care
- Certificate in Personal Development and Learning for Unpaid Carers
Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre employs peripatetic assessors who all use the electronic portfolio system. All Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre assessors have experience of working in the service areas in which they assess.
Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre assesses workers in all types of social care establishments across Shropshire, to help them gain their care award to meet the requirements of the National Minimum Standards.
Social Care and Health Training and Assessment Centre regularly achieves "A" grade status from City and Guilds, who inspect the management and administrative processes of the centre twice a year.
