Located in Cremorne Gardens, Ellesmere, overlooking The Mere, the warden’s bungalow has been refurbished and redecorated and is now available for local groups and organisations to hire for functions, meetings and other events
If you hire the building you will get exclusive use of a large meeting/function room, a kitchen, toilets and showers, and a small garden – as well as having easy access to The Mere and the nearby children’s play area.
The building is available to hire Monday to Friday.
How much does it cost?
The cost to hire the bungalow is £14 per hour. However, under a special ‘early bird’ offer, there is a 10% discount on any bookings made before 31 March 2017.
Did you know?
The bungalow is home to the council’s Country Parks and Heritage Sites team, which coordinates the management of countryside sites, in north Shropshire - including The Mere. However the majority of the building is available for hire.
The refurbishment has given this well-known building a new lease of life, and it really is the ideal location for anyone planning an event, function or party.
The bungalow is in a beautiful setting with stunning views of The Mere, offers opportunities to make the most of the great outdoors and is close to one of the largest play areas in the county.
The bungalow will be officially opened on Monday 20 February, by Councillor Malcolm Pate, leader of Shropshire Council.
