8. Smartwater
The Local Policing team will introduce this item and a presentation will be made by Steve Lloyd regarding Smartwater. A leaflet introducing Smartwater is attached. Local people will have an opportunity to ask questions.

9. Partners and Communities Together (PACT) West Mercia Police and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service. Local people will have an opportunity to ask questions of the officers in attendance.

11. SamDev Preferred Options
Please note that a public meeting is being held on Thursday 31 May 2012 at The Red House, Albrighton to discuss the SAMDev Preferred Options and associated issues including the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).The Local Joint Committee has the opportunity in advance of that meeting to consider whether it would like to raise questions at the public meeting. A briefing note is attached. It should be noted that Planning Officers will not be in attendance at the LJC meeting, but will be hosting the public meeting on 31 May.

13. Connecting Shropshire – Superfast Broadband
To note that Shropshire Council is working hard to bring superfast broadband to Shropshire and that they need help from the public. To verify the need. To register your support either complete a questionnaire, which will be available at the meeting or visit www.connectingshropshire.co.uk or call 0345 678 9000.
