Contact David Wise (01743 252726) Arising thereon: Scrutiny : Local Highway Network (Item 5) Mr Bennett, Highways Manager South East, Shropshire Council, has provided updated information on issues raised at a previous meeting:The request for a section of the B4373 to be straightened where there is a severe bend near Nordley has been forwarded to the Projects Team. A 30 mph speed limit is now in force in Nordley. The ownership of an overgrown hedge on Coalport Road has now been established and a letter is being sent to the owner requesting that it be cut back within fourteen days. 8.  Public Consultation on moving Broseley Post Office
Post Office Ltd have been undertaking a public consultation exercise on their plans to re-locate the branch at 73 High Street, Broseley, a distance of seventy five yards to new premises at Spar Stores in the High Street. It has been stated that the same range of services will be provided and that the relocation of the service into a retail outlet is believed to be the best way forward to secure continued access to Post Office services locally. Post Office Ltd have asked for any comments on the proposal to be submitted by 22 September.

9 .  Household Recycling Centre entry restrictions (Information item)
Information on forthcoming changes to the rules regarding access to Shropshire’s Household Recycling Centres for residents will be available at the meeting.

The date of the next LJC meeting has been changed to Wednesday 2 December at 7.00 p.m. as the Victoria Hall, Broseley, is unavailable on the original date of 1 December. (Members are asked to bring their personal diaries with them in order to agree a date for the next planning meeting).
