To consider the Notes of the last meeting of the Ludlow & Clee Area Local Joint Committee held on 2 March 2010. Notes are attached, marked 5.

To receive any feedback from the local PACT meetings and/or a report from the local Police Commander, Inspector Ken MacKaill.

To receive a short presentation from the StreetScene Manager, Kate Adams, on Shropshire Council's 'A' Boards Policy.

To receive a presentation from Mr Ron Buzzacott, Shropshire Council's Head of Technical Services, on flooding and drainage issuesin the area of the LJC with reference to associated long-term planning issues and the work of the Corvedale and Clee Hill Flood Forum.

To receive an update from the Support Officer, Erica Garner, on progress made in developing an Area Action Plan and local priorities for the Ludlow & Clee LJC area and to approve the draft Area Action Plan for onward consultation with the Parish/Town Councils in the LJC area. Copy attached, marked 9.

To consider the grant assessment form to assist in the future determination of funding applications to the LJC. A copy of the assessment form is attached, marked 10.

To consider the report from the Lead Officer, Richard Thomas, relating to applications received for Round 1 Community Chest funding. [Applicants have been informed that they may attend to answer questions from the Committee members]. The report is attached, marked 11.

To note the financial feedback on the Ludlow & Clee Area LJC as at 31 March 2010. Information attached, marked 12.

The Development Plan Document [DPD] is very important, and will shape your local area over the years ahead. This is your first opportunity to influence it, at the earliest stage in its preparation. We are interested in your views, concerns and aspirations for the future of Shropshire and in particular the parts that you know well. As Shropshire covers such a large geographical area, the consultation documents have been prepared using Local Joint Committee Area boundaries. This is to enable the Council to provide and obtain information at a more local level.Copies of the consultation document relating to the Ludlow & Clee Local Joint Committee are available at this meeting. A local public consultation event was held in Ludlow in April 2010 and there will be a further consultation event at a special meeting of the Ludlow Town Council on 7 June 2010. feedback can also be submitted via Shropshire Council's website by following the links on Environment and planning\Planning policy\Site allocations and Management of development - consultation.

This is an opportunity for members of the public to raise any issues of concern and to highlight any matters that they may like the Committee to consider now or at one of its future meetings.
