2.  Declarations of Interest

3.  Notes of the last meeting held on 25 May 2010

4.  Shropshire Council's Budget Consultation
The Leader of Shropshire Council, Councillor Keith Barrow, the Chief Executive, Kim Ryley and the Director of Resources, Laura Rowley will be making a presentation about the key messages relating to the Council's Revenue Budget 2010/11 and future years. Copies of the presentation slides and the Key Messages will be tabled at the meeting. The results of Shropshire Council's Budget consultation are attached for information, marked 4.

5.  Social Enterprise presentations and discussion
Jean Jarvis, Chief Executive of the South Shropshire Furniture Scheme will be making a presentation on social enterprise generally and will be using the South Shropshire Furniture Scheme to illustrate what she has to say. Graeme Perks from 'Skillbuilders' will be talking about local procurement generally and the continued importance of volunteering.

6.  Report from Police and Communities Together [PACT]
To receive any feedback from the local PACT meetings and/or a report from the local Police Commander, Inspector Ken MacKaill or his representative.

7.  Ludlow Community Alcohol Project
Information relating to the recently launched Ludlow Community Alcohol Project will be available at the meeting.

8.  Shropshire Fire and Rescue
Mr Dave Dickens, South District Manager, will be making a short presentation on Fire and Rescue Service incidents/activity in the area of the LJC and will answer any questions raised from the floor.

9.  Engaging and upporting young people

10.  Community Chest Funding Applications 2010/11

11.  Rural Highways condition in southern Shropshire
The attached reports are for the Committee's information at the request of Shropshire Council's Development Services Scrutiny Committee.

12.  Current consultation - For information
The Shropshire Partnership's new Consultation Portal summarises all the consultation activities in which Shropshire Council and its partners are involved. The Portal is intended for members of the public, community groups, town/parish councils and Local Joint Committees, as well as those planning to undertake consultation activities in public sector organisation.Current consultations are detailed for information on the attached report.

13.  Site allocations and management of development

14.  Public Question Time
This is an opportunity for members of the public to raise any issues of concern and to highlight any matters that they may like the Committee to consider now or at one of its future meetings. Anyone who wishes to raise any items is encouraged to complete a question sheet circulated at the meeting.

15.  Meeting dates 2010/11
The LJC will be meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2010 at Bitterley village hall and Tuesday 22 February 2011 at Ashford Carbonel village hall.
