1. Election of Chairman
The Chairman of the Local Joint Committee must be a Shropshire Councillor.
2. Welcome and apologies
To welcome those in attendance and to receive any apologies for absence.Please take a few minutes to read the information sheet that explains the role of the Local Joint Committee and how it works in practice.
3. Appointment of Vice Chairman
Any Member is eligible to be appointed Vice Chairman of the Local Joint Committee.
4. Disclosable Pecuniary Interests
Members are reminded that they must not participate in the discussion or voting on any matter in which they have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest and should leave the room prior to the commencement of the debate.
5. Notes of the meeting held on 28 February 2013.

6. Report from the local Police
The local Policing team will provide an update on local policing matters and will provide an overview of proposed changes to policing in the area. (up to 15 mins)
7. Fire Service Update
Local Fire Officers will provide an update on any relevant local information together with the impact of the funding cuts on the local fire service provision.(up to 15 mins)
8. Locality Commissioning and the Church Stretton pilot project
Chris Edwards [Shropshire Council's South Area Commissioner] will share information on the new approach to locality commissioning in the county [beginning in Church Stretton and rolling out across the county], highlighting who will be involved and its expected outcomes.(up to 15 mins)
9. News from your local Parish and Town Councils
Your local Parish and Town Council representatives will be given the opportunity to provide any local news updates and highlight any urgent or important issues. [Ashford Carbonel, Bitterley, Caynham, Ludford, Ludlow and Richards Castle] (up to 15 mins)
10. 2013/14 Finance Report, including update on funding requests
Applications for financial assistance will be considered. This is the first allocation of funding in the current financial year 2013/14. (up to 30 mins)

11. Market Towns Revitalisation Programme and Community Action Update
An update will be given on the progress of local projects that have been considered for funding under the Market Towns Revitalisation Programme and the Community Action Officer will provide a brief update on her work and the local projects that are being supported in the Ludlow and Clee area. (up to 10 mins)
12. For information - Current Consultations
To note any information available at the meeting relating to details of ongoing consultations being undertaken by Shropshire Council.
