Items under discussion:
1. Election of Chairman
The Chairman of the Local Joint Committee must be a Shropshire Councillor.
2. Welcome and apologies
To welcome those in attendance and to receive any apologies for absence.
3. Appointment of Vice Chairman
Any Member is eligible to be appointed Vice Chairman of the Local Joint Committee.
4. Declarations of Interest
A Guidance Note on declaring personal and prejudicial interests will be available at the meeting.
5. Notes of the last meeting held on 20 January 2011.
To consider the Notes of the last meeting of the StrettonDale Local Joint Committee held on 20 January 2011.

6. PACT - Police and Communities Together
The local Community Police Officer will provide information and answer questions on any local issues/matters of interest.
7. Shropshire Council's Area Director, southern Shropshire .
The new Area Director for the south of the county, Mr Chris Edwards, will introduce himself and explain his role in the area and his plans for the future.
8. Waste Services
Shropshire Council’s Waste Services Manager, Mr Larry Wolfe, will provide information on the waste and recycling services available in the area and answer any questions raised
9. LJC Grant Applications
Applications for grant assistance will be considered. This is the first allocation of funding in the current financial year 2011/12.

10. Funding Updates
The Community Action Officer will provide an update on local projects submitted to the Market Towns Revitalisation Programme and the Rural Settlements Challenge Fund.
11. Public Transport Update for the StrettonDale area
An update will be given on local bus and rail service provision.

12. Co-option of members to the Committee
An update will be given on the co-option of representatives to the Committee from Acton Scott Parish Meeting and the Church Stretton Area Partnership.
13. Public Question Time
This is an opportunity for members of the public to raise any issues of concern and to highlight any matters that they may like the Committee to consider now or at one of its future meetings.
14. Date/Time of next meeting
The next meeting of the StrettonDale Local Joint Committee will be held at 7.00pm on Wednesday 19 October 2011 at Leebotwood village hall SY6 6NB [on the A49 at Leebotwood, opposite The Pound Inn].
