We always recommend that staff look at the Skills for Care website and their information hub for individual employers and personal assistants.

Think Local Act Personal 

national partnership of more than 50 organisations committed to transforming health and care through personalisation and community-based support. It includes central and local government, the NHS, providers, people with care and support needs, carers and families working in co-production.  

If you go on their website and search 'Shropshire' you'll see blogs and articles about Shropshire Council staff and experts by experience. 

The partnership also has good examples of planning the process (health and social care) through personalised support.

TLAP is committed to explaining the jargon used in health and social care. Their jargon buster is a directory of plain English definitions of commonly used words and phrases in health and social care, and can be downloaded from their website.
