Shropshire Ecological Data Network (SEDN)

SEDN is a group of organisations and individuals who routinely gather and provide ecological data to use in decision making related to the natural environment.

SEDN holds species records gathered primarily by volunteers. It also holds information on designated wildlife sites.

Please us the link under related information for all data enquiries including those which are for a commercial purpose.

Using SEDN data, hotspot maps, showing the number of species recorded in a given 1 square kilometre for fungi, spiders / mites, reptiles / amphibians and different groupings of plant species have been compiled and can be accessed using the link below.
