Does a digital season ticket guarantee me a parking space?

Unfortunately, purchasing a digital ticket doesn't guarantee you a parking space within your designated car park.

Where do I display my digital season ticket?

There will be no physical ticket to display. Civil Enforcement Officers are able to view details of digital tickets via a handheld computer whilst they are on patrol.

Can I update my own digital season ticket?

Yes.  Changes to vehicle registration numbers and applicant’s address can be changed via the Shropshire Council MiPermit portal.  Failure to update vehicle registration numbers may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.

How many cars can be registered on my digital season ticket?

Numerous vehicles can be registered on the applicant’s account.  A vehicle registration number on a digital ticket can be updated at any time.  However, the digital ticket is only valid for one vehicle at any one time.  It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to register the vehicle in use at that time.  Failure to update vehicle registration numbers may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.

Can I still purchase Ludlow Visitor Scratchcards?

No.  As of 19 November 2018, residents in Ludlow can have 200 hours free parking for visitors instead of visitor scratch cards which are no longer available.  These hours are free if selected when purchasing a Ludlow on-street residents’ permit.

What do I do if I no longer require my digital season ticket?

Log on to the Shropshire Council MiPermit portal and cancel the digital ticket.

Can I get a refund on my digital season ticket?

Yes.  By cancelling your digital ticket through the Shropshire Council MiPermit portal will entitle you to a refund for only the full months left on the ticket.  Refunds will be processed taking into consideration the original purchase method.

What do I do if I temporarily have a hire/courtesy car?

A vehicle registration number on a digital ticket can be updated at any time by logging on to the Shropshire Council MiPermit portal.  You can register a hire/courtesy vehicle registration number on a temporary basis and when your own car is returned, you simply need to log onto Shropshire Council MiPermit portal and amend the registration number.

However, the digital ticket is only valid for one vehicle at any one time.  It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to register the vehicle in use at that time.  Failure to update vehicle registration numbers may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.
