Designation

An application by Adderley, Moreton in Say and Norton in Hales Parish Councils to designate a neighbourhood plan area went out for public consultation from 24 September to 24 October 2018. The application was approved by Shropshire Council's Cabinet on 12 December 2018. 

Consultation

The Adderley, Moreton in Say and Norton in Hales communities were consulted on the draft Neighbourhood Plan between 28 November 2022 to 9 January 2023.

Submission

Shropshire Council received a submission of the draft Three Parishes Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents from Pontesbury Parish Council on 10 October 2022 and consulted on these documents in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, from 7 July to 1 September 2023. 

Examination

In October 2023, Dr Louise Brooke-Smith, OBE, FRICS, MRTPI was appointed as the independent examiner for the plan. She is currently assessing the plan to decide if it meets the basic conditions and can proceed to a referendum.
