Park and ride

Please note that from Monday 19 July, all buses will have full access to Shrewsbury High Street on weekdays only. Therefore the restrictions that were in place Monday to Friday between 11am & 4pm have been lifted for buses and taxis only. All other traffic will need to follow the diversion signs during 11am & 4pm.

On Saturdays all traffic will have access to Shrewsbury High Street except between 11am & 4pm. The nearest park and ride stops during this time will be along Castle Street (opposite Marks & Spencer). Find out more from our park and ride section (look under ‘Route description’).

Local bus services

For the same reason mentioned above, local bus services will have full access to Shrewsbury High Street on weekdays only. On Saturdays all traffic will have access to Shrewsbury High Street except between 11am & 4pm. During these times local bus services will follow the diversions signs. Please check with the bus operator for further details.
