Sharps collection

It's the responsibility of residents to dispose of sharps safely. The following options are available: 

• Take to your GP surgery
• Hand to a pharmacist 
• If you have a visiting nurse hand to that nurse

The NHS provides further information on safe disposal of sharps.

If you've found discarded syringes, needles or drug related items don't touch them. Please follow our instructions and report them to us.
