BEAM

Who are BEAM?

We are a multi-disciplinary team made up of therapists, youth workers and wellbeing volunteers. Our aim is to provide children and young people under 25, their parents and professionals, with advice, signposting and support with any concerns relating to mental and emotional wellbeing.

BEAM drop-ins

Beam drop-ins are held as follows:

Monday

9 Market Square, Wellington, Telford TF1 1BP from Midday – 7pm

Tuesday

9 Market Square, Wellington, Telford TF1 1BP from Midday – 7pm

First and third Wednesday of every month

Ludlow Youth Centre, Lower Galdeford, Ludlow, SY8 1RT from 3.30pm - 7pm

Thursday

Upstairs at Palmer’s Café, Claremont Street, Shrewsbury SY1 1QG from 2pm – 7pm

Saturday

9 Market Square, Wellington, Telford TF1 1BP from 11am – 4pm

BEAM workshops

We're now running workshops for young people:

  • What's bugging you? How to manage anger for young people age 13-18
  • Creative writing. Using writing to express emotions and thoughts for age 14+
  • Arts & crafts club. Sessions for all ages.
  • Body image. For girls aged 13+ (boys body image will be offered at a later date)
