Mayflower Children's Day

The Mayflower set sail for America in 1620. Among the passengers were four young children from the More family of Larden Hall, Shropshire. Only one survived to start a new life in America.

This history day will include talks from local historians telling the fascinating story of the banishment of the More children on the Mayflower, the 17th century religious setting and prospects in America.

With visits to More Hall, Shipton Hall and Shipton Parish Church.

Run by the Friends of Shropshire Archives and the Mayflower Children Committee.

Booking: For more information and to book your space, please download the Mayflower Day flyer (PDF).
