3. Change of Electoral Division Name
The Local Government Boundary Commission has granted consent for Council to make an Order to change the name of the Minsterley Division to the Rea Valley Division.
To give effect to this decision the Council is reqired to pass the following resolution:
RESOLVED:
That in accordance with the powers contained in Section 59(4) Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, the name of the Minsterley Division shall be changed to the Rea Valley Division; and
That this change shall take effect once the Council has given the requisite notice to those bodies specified in Section 57(6) of that Act.
