We the undersigned,in accordance with the Council's Constitution, section 4.1 (ii) & (iv), call on the Speaker to organise an urgent Extraordinary meeting of the full Council prior to the closure of consultations on the Acute Hospitals proposals on the 14th March in order that this Council is able to put forward its considered view. We consider that this is a matter of vital importance that potentially affects everyone in both Shropshire & Telford & Wrekin's areas, as well as many people from across the border in Powys. We further note that Telford & Wrekin Council has already held its own Council meeting to consider this matter & consider that restricting this Councils response to that purely from Cabinet does not allow Council as a whole to debate the matter & put forward its considered view.
