4. The Future Configuration of Hospital Services: Outline Business Case
To consider the further development of the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) Outline Business Case for the Future Configuration of Hospital Services across its two sites at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, prior to submission to the Trust Board.
Adam Cairns, Chief Executive of SaTH, will present the Outline Business Case. Dr Leigh Griffin, Managing Director of NHS Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire County Primary Care Trust and Nick Henry, WMAS West Mercia Divisional Manager will also attend to join the discussion.
The summary of issues identified through the Joint Committee process set out in the Work Plan attached as Appendix 1, has been sent to SaTH, the Primary Care Trust and the West Midlands Ambulance Service for further update since June 2011.
The Joint Committee is recommended to respond to the Outline Business Case on work to date and going forward.

Briefing note from the West Midlands Cancer Network on issues raided by the Committee on the audit of patient pathways for gynaecological cancer and the transfer of patient records.
