4. The Future Configuration of Hospital Services: Service Variation Status
To consider a report of the Communications Director, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, attached, marked 4. Representatives of SaTH will be present to provide Members with an overview of ongoing work towards the Full Business Case, and ask the Committee to consider the information contained within the Service Variation Report. The Joint Committee is recommended to respond to the content of the report. Copies of background papers have been attached for information only: - Outline Business Case: Executive Summary, attached, marked 4(i) - SaTH Trust Board: The Future Configuration of Hospital Services Programme Report, attached, marked 4(ii) - Assurance Grid: Current Position, Next Steps and Ongoing Assurances, attached, marked 4(iii) A written response to questions submitted by Members in advance of the meeting may be tabled.

5. Chairman's Update
Regional Health Scrutiny Chair's meeting will be hosted by Shropshire Council, and will be held on 12 January 2012 at 10.00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the WMAS Headquarters, Granada Trading Estate, Oldbury.

To note that the next meeting of the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee will be confirmed at the meeting.
