4. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening
To receive a presentation on local implementation from Dr Catherine Woodward (Director of Public Health) and Mr Tim Sykes (Vascular Surgeon & Clincial Director for AAA).

5. The Future Configuration of Hospital Services: Full Business Case
Adam Cairns (Chief Executive of the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust) will be present to update Members on the revised timetable for the submission and approval of the Full Business Case, and to provide an overview of key elements including revisions to the plans for the Princess Royal Hospital, the planning process, finances and any changes since the Outline Business Case stage. The Joint Committee is recommended to respond to the draft Full Business Case. Attached for information is an Assurance Grid, which shows how SaTH have addressed concerns in the Full Business Case A written response to questions submitted by Members in advance of the meeting may be tabled.

To update Members on the Regional Health Scrutiny Chairs’ meetings held on 12 January and 12 March 2012.

Attached for information is the report of the Greater Midlands Cancer Network on the findings of the audit of the pathways for gynaecological cancer.
