2. Minutes and any matters arising
(A) To confirm the minutes of the last meeting held on 31 January (attached marked ‘2’).
(B) Matters Arising – The Countryside Access Development Officer will provide updates on the following:
• Internal Annual Report;
• Verges;
• Major Planning Applications and LAF Consultation – To appoint a nominated person from the Shropshire Local Access Forum to act as the contact person for making comments on planning applications affecting rights of way; and
• Mountain Biking on the Long Mynd (see attached marked ‘2B’).

3. Public Question Time
To receive any questions, statements or petitions of which notice has been received from members of the public.
4. Disclosable Pecuniary Interests
Members are reminded that they must not participate in the discussion or voting on any matter in which they have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest and should leave the room prior to the commencement of the debate.
5. Dedication of Access on National Nature Reserves
Tim Coleshaw, Natural England, will be in attendance
6. Availability, Accuracy and Relevance of the Highways
Andy Savage, Highways Development Control, Shropshire Council will be in attendance.
7. Update on Public Health
Miranda Ashwell, Shropshire Council, will be in attendance.
8. Outdoor Recreation Online User Survey - Update
9. Projects Update
Jim Stabler, Access Development Officer, Shropshire Council will provide a verbal update on the following:
• Paths for Communities
• Heritage Lottery Project
• To note the minutes of the LAF National Conference (if received)
• UCRs and Blackmarkers
10. Feedback from other Forums and items for noting
10.1. Items for Noting
• Investment in Cycle Infrastructure – To note the recent announcement from Government that major investment of over £62 million will be invested in cycling in England. £42 million of this funding will comprise of two elements – an urban element and an element for rural areas that are covered by National parks.
• The Shropshire Way Long Distance Footpath – To note the recent report that was presented to Shropshire Council’s Protecting and Enhancing our Environment Scrutiny Committee on 18 March 2013 (copy attached marked ’10.1’).
