14. Motions
The following motion has been received in accordance with Procedure Rule 16:14.1 Received from Mr A N Mosley:"That this Council wishes to be at the forefront of efforts to significantly cut carbon emissions and so reduce our impact on climate change.
To that end we declare our intention to cut 10% of our emissions in 2010 and will further reassess policy and targets to that end.
We will also encourage all partners and stakeholders, together with other public and private organisations, to make a similar declaration of intent."A backgound report is to follow marked 14.
15. Exclusion Of Public and Press
To RESOLVE that in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 12A, Local Government Act 1972 and Paragraph 10.4.(3) of the Council's Access to Information Procedure Rules, the public and press be excluded during consideration of the following item.
