The Portfolio Holder for Planning, Housing and Commissioning (Central) considered a report by the Head of Public Protection on a proposal by the Meres and Mosses Housing Association to change its Rules in order to adopt new Association Rules.  As a shareholder of MMHA the Council had a vote on the Rules.  The Rule change would mean that there would no longer be reserved places on the MMHA Board for Council nominees.  The report summarised the key issues and proposals.

That approval be given to the Meres and Mosses Housing Association changing its Association Rules to enable it to meet the National Housing Federation Model Rules updated in 2011.
