RESOLVED:
To approve the revised fee and allowances policy for Shropshire foster carers, attached at Appendix A of the report.
Minutes:
The Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services drew attention to the positive impact foster carers made on young people’s lives and explained how the proposed recommendations would result in a shift of funding from carer to the child, which would help families to foster multiple children and facilitate children remaining with their siblings in foster care.
