That Members noted the content of the Annual Report.
Minutes:
The Portfolio Holder for Children and Education presented the report which outlined the work of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), a statutory role overseeing complaints and enquiries as to concerns raised about individuals who pose a risk or are a risk to children in roles which are a position of trust.
The Leader felt it was important to note that the role was not just confined to Shropshire Council managed care facilities and that the report covered care facilities across the county.
