That the Minutes of the meeting of the North Planning Committee held on 30^th April 2019 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

Outline application (layout for consideration) for residential development

The Technical Specialist Planning Officer introduced the outline application (layout for consideration) for residential development and reported an amendment to condition 5, to include that the approved scheme shall be implemented.

Having considered the submitted plans and listened to the comments made by all of the speakers, Members unanimously expressed their support for the proposals.

RESOLVED:

That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation, subject to:

·         The conditions set out in Appendix 1 of the officer’s report; and

·         An amendment to condition 5, to include that the approved scheme shall be implemented

Erection of 3no. detached dwellings following demolition of existing structures; Formation of new vehicular access.

The Principal Planning Officer introduced the application for the erection of 3 no. detached dwellings following demolition of existing structures; Formation of new vehicular access. The Principal Planning Officer outlined some minor changes to the suggested conditions. 

Having considered the submitted plans and listened to the comments made by all of the speakers, Members unanimously expressed their support for the proposals, subject to the changes to conditions outlined by the Principal Planning Officer. 

RESOLVED:

That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation, subject to:

·         The conditions set out in Appendix 1 of the officer’s report;

·         An amendment to condition 4 to include reference to implementation of the approved scheme in the first planting season following commencement of development; and

·         The deletion of “unless otherwise approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority” from condition 10.

RESOLVED:

That the appeals and the appeal decisions for the northern area be noted.
