Performance Management Scrutiny Committee
The Transformation and
Improvement Overview and Scrutiny Committee reviews the
effectiveness and delivery of the
Council’s Improvement and Transformation programmes,
overall Council Performance
(including financial, quality and activity),
and the discharge of its corporate and strategic services and
governance arrangements including: Finance,
ICT, HR, OD, Legal and Member Services. The
Committee does this by:
1)
Assessing the effectiveness of decisions of the
Cabinet in these areas of the Council’s statutory activity
and relates overview and scrutiny to the achievement of the
Council’s strategic priorities and objectives as described in
the Shropshire Plan – Healthy Organisation.
2)
Makes reports and recommendations as appropriate
arising from this area of overview and scrutiny.
