Harley bank is a notoroius road traffic incident hot spot. There are so many hazards in that stretch of road from the edge of Much wenlock through to the begining of Harley village. Its a 12% incline with hazards of Deer, falling rocks, 90 degree bends, hidden drives and track and road exits,queueing traffic round blind bends, footpath crossings with no footpath for 200 yards, children at the adventure centre, farm vehicles. All along that mile stretch there are accidents all year round and some very bad with people injured in over turned cars, dead animals damage to property casuing more hazards. it is only a matter of time before more than animal lives are lost and that is bad enough! The same properties asre damaged year in year out where cars plough through walls with the road being closed and people taken to hospital on regular basis. the road is far too fast people drive up and down there losing control. Reducing the speed limit will help to reduce risk. Put a speed camera down the bank if you must to control the traffic here.
