Reason for urgency:
The reason for urgency is because of the need to enable council resources to be committed to taking forward this project, the timescale for which had accelerated as a consequence of the announcement last November by the Minister of State for Universities and Science (David Willetts) to change the funding environment for Higher Education, creating an opportunity for more rapid acceleration of our plans for a Higher Education institution in Shrosphire.
