...or via their website.

The following organisations offer information, advice and support to asylum seekers and refugees.

National Asylum Support Service (NASS) - NASS provides support, accommodation and financial help for asylum seekers whilst their claim is being considered by the Immigration and Nationality Directorate. You can call NASS on 0845 6021739.

Refugee Council - Works with asylum seekers and refugees to provide help and support to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.

British Red Cross - Offers practical and emotional assistance to refugees and asylum seekers arriving in the UK.

Social Care Services - Asylum seekers in Shropshire are entitled to a community care assessment by our social care staff if it's thought that they may be eligible for community care services.

Similarly for asylum seekers who are children, Children and Young People's Services has a duty to assess whether they are 'children in need'.
