All households in Shropshire are offered a fortnightly kerbside collection of recycling. You should separate your material out into three boxes as follows:

Box 1 Paper Newspapers Magazines
Box 2 Glass bottles Glass Jars
Box 3 Drinks cans Food tins Foils and aerosols Plastic bottles Plastic pots, tubs & trays

You may include the following materials:

Newspapers and glossy magazines	Blue glass bottles	Metal food tins	Plastic bottles (e.g. cola, squash, mineral water, milk, ketchup, bleach, cleaning spray, shampoo and washing-up liquid bottles.)
Comics, journals and periodicals	Green glass bottles	Metal drinks cans	Plastic pots (e.g. Yoghurt pots, pots from dips etc.)
Yellow Pages, phone books and catalogues	Amber glass bottles	Aerosols	Plastic tubs (e.g. margarine, ice-cream tubs)
Wrapping paper and brown paper	Clear glass bottles	Tin foil	Plastic trays (e.g. fruit punnets, meat and fish trays)
Paper bags	Blue glass jars	Large tins e.g. Quality Street	Please remove plastic lids from your bottles, pots, tubs and trays but include them for recycling
Leaflets and Junk Mail	Green glass jars	Foil packaging	Please wash & squash all plastic
Letters, computer print outs and stationery	Amber glass jars	Metal lids and caps from jars and bottles
Envelopes, post cards and greetings cards	Clear glass jars
