For customers with allergen requirements eating out can be difficult. There has been an increase in cases where customers have ordered allergen-free foods and suffered a reaction after consuming the item.
You can help protect yourself by following advice on the Food Standards Agency website.
When eating out you can present a Shropshire Council allergen warning card to the food business to help prevent any issues. Please let us know if you wish to make a complaint about food purchased in Shropshire.
