Description

The proposed parking restrictions are intended to address road safety and parking issues by preserving visibility, providing an improved flow of traffic and safer access for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists wishing to use the amenities of the area and roads at the locations named within this Order.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS STREETS, BASCHURCH) (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to place the following parking restrictions on the specified roads in Baschurch:

No Waiting at Any Time

B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown (both sides)
From its junction with the B4397 Station Road for a distance of 144 metres in a southbound direction

Church Road (both sides)
From its junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown for a distance of 11 metres in a westbound direction

Eyton Lane (both sides)
From its junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown for a distance of 10 metres in an eastbound direction

Eyton Lane (south side)
From a point 3 metres west of the junction with Kings Road North to a point 13 metres east of that junction

Western access to The Corbet School coach parking area (both sides)
From its junction with Eyton Lane for a distance of 9 metres in a northbound direction

Kings Road North (both sides)
From its junction with Eyton Lane for a distance of 25 metres in a southbound direction


No Waiting and No Loading, Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm

Eyton Lane (both sides)
From a point 10 metres east of the junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown for a distance of 76 metres in an eastbound direction

Eyton Lane (north side)
From a point 143 metres east of the junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown to the western access for The Corbet School coach parking area

Eyton Lane (south side)
From a point 143 metres east of the junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown to a point 3 metres west of the junction with Kings Road North

No Stopping on School Keep Clear markings, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Eyton Lane (both sides)
From a point 86 metres east of the junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown for a distance of 57 metres in an eastbound direction

Eyton Lane (north side)
From a point 250 metres east of the junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road/Newtown for a distance of 26 metres in an eastbound direction
