Shropshire Council is proposing to revoke the order on the Beatrice Street Car Park, Oswestry, thus removing the current charges and permits and all other terms and conditions. The reason for the proposal to revoke the order is that the council is proposing to lease the adjoining building and car park to a commercial business. Shropshire Council proposes that the leaseholder will operate the car park to facilitate parking for their customers with a free two-hour parking stay. This will assist in control and management of the available parking places for the business and help mitigate congestion and on street parking in the immediate vicinity. |

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to remove any reference to Beatrice Street Car Park, Oswestry in The Shropshire Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2011 to enable the management and maintenance of the site by a commercial business in agreement with the council.
The council is proposing to lease the adjoining building and car park to a commercial business. The leaseholder will operate the car park to facilitate parking for their customers with a free two-hour parking stay.
