Descriptio

It is proposed:

  • That eligible residents of the Cliff Road scheme will be able to continue to purchase one resident parking permit per premise
  • That eligible residents of the Cliff Road scheme will receive 200 hours of visitor permits per year
  • That any proprietors of holiday let properties located within the Cliff Road scheme may purchase a parking permit for use by their customers during the rental of the holiday let property
  • These proposals are to enable the introduction of an online virtual permitting system that will give improved access and greater flexibility in service provision

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (CLIFF ROAD, BRIDGNORTH) (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to introduce a virtual residents permit system requiring a change to the way that visitor parking permits are allocated to Cliff Road residents:

It is proposed that:

Eligible residents of Cliff Road will receive 200 hours of visitor permits per year if they buy a residents parking permit. Eligible residents who do not purchase a residents parking permit may buy the same amount of visitors permits at a cost of £5 per year.

It is also proposed that:

Proprietors of holiday let properties located within the Cliff Road scheme may purchase a parking permit for use by their customers during the rental of the holiday let property. Each establishment will be entitled to purchase one digital permit annually at a cost of £100.
