Shropshire Council currently contracts with a large number of accredited homecare providers, who deliver paid care to people in their own homes.
As part of Shropshire Councils transformation programme, we're seeking the views of people who receive care at home and/or their family carers, carers who are paid to deliver this service, and stakeholders. There are separate surveys for each of these groups, so please be sure to find the survey that applies to you.
This will allow us to identify what our care market needs to look like in the future so we can achieve a bespoke solution, with high quality home care available across all areas of Shropshire, at the same time ensuring that the market is sustainable and resilient to future demands and challenges.
Our overarching ambition for this programme will be for advice, information and support to be available for people to maximise their independence and prevent ill health, allowing people to live safely in their own home for as long as possible.
