THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to make the following amendments to its off-street parking places order:
1/ To assist with the excessive demand for season tickets in some popular car parks, the specified maximum number of resident permit and season ticket thresholds will be combined to give an overall maximum threshold for each car park where such permits and tickets are available, as set out in Schedule 1 to this notice.
2/ The following changes will be made to the operating procedures of the Raven Meadows multi-storey car park in Shrewsbury (see Schedule 2 to this notice):
- a/ The Monday to Saturday evening/overnight charging period will be brought forward by two hours so that it will now apply between 6pm and 8am;
- b/ The charging cap for the Monday to Saturday evening/overnight period will be reduced from three hours to two hours.
