ESTABLISHMENT OF PUFFIN PEDESTRIAN CROSSING, A4117, CLEE HILL

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to replace the existing Zebra pedestrian crossing with a Puffin (signalised) pedestrian crossing as follows:

Puffin crossing on the A4117 at Clee Hill at a point approximately 25 metres east of its junction with the B4214 Tenbury Road.

The upgrading of this crossing is to improve access to the amenities of the area and is in the interest of public health and safety.
