Description 

The reduction of the speed limit to 40mph along the C5062, C5137, U5201, U5202 & U5218 is to reinforce the appropriate speed of travel throughout these routes.  The proposed speed limit will improve road safety along these routes.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF SHREWSBURY & ATCHEM) (NO.2) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following roads in Cross Houses:

40mph Speed limit

  • C5062 - from a point located 220 metres in a northerly direction from its juction with the A458 to a point located 29 metres in a southerly direction from its junction with B4380
  • C5137 - entire length
  • U5201 - entire length
  • U5202 - entire length
  • U5218 - entire length
  • U5982 - entire length

Any existing speed limits at the mentioned locations will be revoked.
